When it comes to auto repair, its hard to know who to trust. A couple years ago, I took my car into the dealership for regular maintenance. I didnt have any problems or concerns, so I was shocked when they told me I had 5k worth of repairs I needed! In that moment I declined the repairs and sought a second opinion. I wanted an unbiased opinion about what, if anything, was wrong with my car, and how much for said repairs. I, like many people do, looked to the internet/social media platforms to solicit a honest mechanic. A couple of days later I saw a post on the local Nextdoor neighborhood group, someone else talking about the astronomical cost of auto related repairs. I noticed that a friend(acquaintance) recommended Flemmingss and immediately reached out to her to confirm her experience. I wasted no time contacting them for a consultation. Imagine my surprise when their assessment was that I only needed a radiator flush, and the cost was $250! I honestly couldnt believe it! In a world of lies and deceit, its so hard to find honest people, especially in an industry I know nothing about. After that experience, I vowed to give them my business for all my/our families auto repairs. Fast forward to last week, and I got in my car from being out of town and got a arising I needed coolant and to turn off engine immediately. Unfortunately, I didnt trust driving it 12 miles to Chandler, so my husband took it to local place to add coolant. Their assessment was it needed a new water pump and the cost would be $2650. I didnt want to put that kind of money into it, as its 12 years old Audi A4, and probably only worth about 5k. I decided to have it towed to Flemings, and the repair only cost me $1300.
